Neal Davies joined Effie Worldwide as President and CEO in May 2014, where he serves as the operational lead and the industry spokesperson for the organization. He oversees the organization’s staff at its New York headquarters, as well as its 40+ international partners around the world. Davies has nearly 25 years of marketing experience as both a client and an agency practitioner and has held leadership roles at Kodak, McCann, Naked, and TBWA.
Neal joined Effie Worldwide as President and CEO in May of 2014 to serve as both the operational lead and the industry spokesperson for the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, he oversees the organization’s staff at its New York headquarters, as well as its 40+ international partners.
His client experience includes a six-year stint with Kodak (back when people used to put film in cameras!), and his agency assignments—Simons Palmer in London, TBWA\Chiat\Day and McCann in New York, and most recently as a founder of Naked Communications—include leading such iconic brands as Absolut, Sony PlayStation, Johnson & Johnson and American Express. Along the way, he has won the UK TV Commercial of the Year, a Grand Effie and a Regional Emmy.
Away from the office, Neal has a lovely wife (Lisa) and twin eight-year-old girls (Carys and Betrys). He was born and bred in England but New Jersey has been his home for 15 years. In his spare time he plays the guitar and boxes.
